Robert Omoto, OD

Dr. Rob is the son of Dr. Steven and Dr. April and was born and raised in Sacramento. He received his B.S. in biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2007. He then attended optometry school at the Southern California College of Optometry and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree in May of 2011. Dr. Rob has served on the  board of directors for the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society, from 2012-2019.  During that time he was the editor of Insight, the SVOS newsletter, and was the president for the SVOS in 2015.  Dr. Rob was also the recipient of the California Optometric Association’s Young Optometrist of the Year award in 2015.  Currently, Dr. Rob is a co-administrator for the Northern California division of Vision Source.

He is licensed in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, lacrimal dilation and irrigation, as well as glaucoma management. Dr. Rob adds to the practice his skills in glaucoma and ocular disease management. He is excited to be practicing with his parents and enjoys working with patients to deliver the best care for them. In addition, he looks forward to keeping the office up to date with the latest in technological advances in order to improve quality of care. He looks forward to continuing to serve the same community that his parents have for more than 40 years.
