Dr. Brian Park received his Doctorate of Optometry after completing his training at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, CA in May 2014. He completed his clinical externships at Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ, Hoopes Vision in Draper, UT, Schermer, Hunt and Rogers in Sacramento, and the University Eye Center at Fullerton in Fullerton, CA. Throughout his time as a student intern he gained experience in many different areas such as primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, vision therapy, contact lens and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Park is licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, lacrimal dilation and irrigation, and the treatment and management of glaucoma.

Dr. Park is a native of the Sacramento region. He grew up in the Greenhaven/Pocket area, and is an alumnus of John F. Kennedy High School. He earned his BS degree in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2008. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the California Optometric Association (COA), and the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society (SVOS). He served as the President of SVOS in 2017-18. He is currently serving a term on the Board of Trustees for the COA. Dr. Park was also recognized by the COA as a 2017 Young Optometrist of the Year.

In his free time he is an avid triathlete, golfer and photographer. He is excited to be apart of the Greenhaven Optometry team as an associate Optometrist and can’t wait to provide the highest quality of health and vision care to the patients.
